Street Series # 35 - Karlsminegata

A quiet and clean street in winter morning. I walk this street every day with my daughter. When I saw the sky, I had to stop to take a picture of it. Good morning everyone, wish you have a lovely day today :)

Stavanger Storsenter

This is a shopping center in the town center. It has many small and nice shops, and a coffee bar. In this location in 1897 a hospital for the poor was located and a later on a workplace for the poor.

Moods of Norway

Across the street from Dressman this shop is located; Moods of Norway. Here the suits are REAL funky, and one will be fashionable with these clothes. Moods of Norway have opened stores in many cities also abroad.

Dressmann

Dressman is a store selling clothes to men all over Norway, it is low price store, but quality is good. It is ordinary clothes, so you will probably not win a fashion price wearing them. BUT, last week the company said it would have "creative input" from Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. So maybe some funky clothes are coming.

February 2011 DP Theme - Fountain

There are not many fountains in Stavanger. This one is located beside an old Stavanger hospital which is now being used as a Public Offices. You can see other photo of fountain which I have posted in summer 2006 here. It is in the middle of Breiavatnet which is frozen right now.
