Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

Sliding in Ullandhaug Hill

Families were out sliding in this hill just down from Ullandhaug Tower. It is all great fun but hard work walking up after a short and joyous ride down.

My two daughters love it, and so do all the children here. So much fun to do on snowy days.

I feel sorry for those without garage on a day like this, and driving on small streets where it has not been plowed is impossible, but there is always an upside. Come back and see the picture tomorrow.

New Apartments

Here are some new apartments being built, as you can see the two lowest floors are garage for the cars, on top are grass and trees. When you walk from the back you would not know that under the greenery there are two floors with cars.

TV Shop

Free Lot for Hire

Here it used to be a bicycle shop, and as you know I posted a picture of the big hole in back of this. Now the ground floor is ready to be home for another business. I wish whoever all the best in the years to come.

Xmas Tree

Xmas tree in front of the Cathedral, yes it is this time of the year. In Norway it is called Jol and in old days they celebrated that the sun turned/was born again and good food and drink was the joy to lift the spirit and await warmer and sunnier days.

December 2009 DP Theme - Waiting
