A fellow photographer at work. A picture say more than a thousand words it is said, and with an electronic camera it becomes so easy to tell any story. Hurray for the photographers of this world.

Flowers in Balcony

This wooden house used to have four small apartments. The flowers, roses, makes it very atractive and nice.

Stavanger Cathedral

It is a majestic building and beautiful framed with the flowers and greenery. I have posted this cathedral before, you can see it here and here.

Baptist Church

This small church is located in town center, an evangelical church. It is located in Bergelandsgt 24. They offer a variety of opportunities designed for each member of the family including Bible study, social activities, special events, seasonal celebrations and mission opportunities.

This street is full of churches, mostly small ones.

Apartment Series # 35

This is a new apartments in town center. They look futuristic, but I think the way it is made, making rain run on the wood instead of a proper roof. It is no good here with all our rain. I like its design though.

Landing

A big seagull is coming in for landing. They are big, fearless and VERY noisy. They eat anything, some call them flying rats, but they are nice too look at when not too many are gathered.

Music Pavillion

The town center's park has this beautiful music pavillion. Sometimes a band is playing there. The man with the PC is using the internet, the whole town center is covered by free internet.

Swan

So many fairy tales are told where the swan is one of the main characters. It is such a magical, proud and beautiful bird.

Storhaug Apotek

This is a local pharmacy no longer in business. It used to be so grand inside, and I do hope something nice will arise here in the near future.

After the Hole has been Filled

As you may remember I took a photo while they were making the hole for this building. They had problems and some part slid out. But now the building is up and like it or not, this is how it will look for a long time.

Personally I think it is better than before but the frontage towards the street above look cheap.

Street Series # 29

A cosy street in center of town. People live in the small houses and apart from parking it is very convenient to live here.

Apartment Series # 34

This is a very nice block of flats in Storhaug. Behind is a nice garden and everything seems well made.

Playing with Birds

We took a stroll last Sunday to this famous Breiavatnet. Although the sun was hiding behind the clouds it didn't stop people to go out, feed the birds or just sitting on the bench looking at the children chasing and playing with the birds.

Trees on the Hill

You can't help someone get up a hill without getting closer to the top yourself.

House Series # 74

This house is probably no different than others. There is nothing unique about this house. But it looks strong with its concrete wall. I just like it.

Boganes Sykehjem

Boganes hospital owned by Stavanger municipality and is a completely new hospital with a great location in Hinna neighborhood, south of Stavanger. Operations started in 7th September 2005. The hospital has 64 beds including a ward for those terminally ill, specially pain treatment for cancer patience. The hospital has cafe, kiosk and various activity rooms.
